Underground Move Foreman OWL shift

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

• Implement all safety policies and procedures
• Supervise and provide direction to hourly employees in owl shift section moves and/or utility work
• Plan, organize, schedule, and coordinate with Shift Foreman all mining and/or utility projects
• Supervise power moves, belt move, timber and cribbing, stopping construction, water line set-ups, and other associated activities as assigned
• Adopt and follow the Mountain Laurel safety philosophy of achieving an injury-free workplace and supporting the behavior based safety program

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS: 

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Dust certification or an ability to obtain
• EMT-M certification a plus
• WV Mine Foreman Certification
• Proven safety and attendance record
• Proven leadership ability
